Maybe this is a dumb question, but I'm curious -
Why is Marisol's scarf 2 pieces that connect with Velcro? Is this some trendy thing I don't know about?
Thanks

I believe it just makes it easier for little hands to put it on. I like the idea, makes the scarf look nice and neat on the doll. We have Marisol(she has temporarily moved to my GD's house)She is 10 and just loves the clothes and the doll. I prefer historicals, so I don't mind Marisol going for a visit. I just hope she visits me once in a while!!

It is probably to keep the knot "pretty". Molly's Camp Gowanagin outfit tie is the same way.

Could it be for safety? I know that my kids did lots of goofy things like trying to swing from blind cords or wrapping things around their necks.

I think it's just to keep it tied nicely. Bitty Baby's winter outfit from last year is the same way. The front stays tied and nice and you undo the velcro to slip it around the neck and not over the head.

I believe it's for safety's sake. Bitty baby has a scarf like that--winter wonderland I think?
